Otto has worked in disability support services since leaving a successful career in the Australian Public Service almost 20 years ago. He has a long history with the Western suburbs of Sydney and the Blue Mountains, having lived in the region for most of the past 50 years. Otto is a successful For-Purpose-Organisation (FPO) CEO and Board Director having sat on FPO boards since 2006 and chaired various boards during this time.
Otto started his management consulting company Trusted Leadership to support small to medium organisations ensure they have the required governance and strategic management principles and practices in place. Through his consultancy Otto provides a range of expertise and support including Company Secretary Services, risk and strategic management support as well as mentoring support to CEOs and senior executives.
